Those Kiwis must be doing something right! For the fourth year in a row, Tourism New Zealand has been voted the best tourism board in Australasia in the World Travel Awards, which were held in Dubai.
New Zealand was competing against Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, and Tahiti.
“To be recognised by the international tourism industry for the work we are doing in marketing New Zealand is a great achievement and further confirms the value of our 100% Pure New Zealand campaign, our hosted media programme, and the work we do with travel partners," said Tourism New Zealand's Chief Executive Kevin Bowle.
The five other regional winners were Antigua, Maldives, Peru, and Turkey. A global winner will be named at the WTA Grand Final Gala Ceremony in Qatar on 30 November 2013.
