Hong Kong-based New World Hospitality is changing its name to Rosewood Hotel Group. New World is a rapidly expanding international hotel management company. Its portfolio includes Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and New World Hotels.
“As Rosewood is the group’s marquee brand, and the one whose properties are most widely represented geographically, we feel it is more appropriate for the company to adopt the Rosewood name,” says Sonia Cheng, the group’s chief executive officer.
Rosewood Hotel Group’s portfolio consists of 40 hotels in 14 countries that are operated and marketed as three independent brands.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is the group’s premium brand. It comprises a collection of 18 hotels and resorts in eight countries.
