Kenya Airways is growing its footprint in the Middle East with the launch of non stop flights linking Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, with Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
Service will begin on 1 July 2013.
Flights will operate three times a week. Abu Dhabi will be the second Kenya Airways travel destination in the United Arab Emirates. The Kenyan airline already flies to Dubai 10 times a week.
"These flights are intended to add value to our customers by providing improved connections and more choices of travel into other parts of the Middle East," says Titus Naikuni, Kenya Airways' Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director.
The new route is expected to strenghten economic and cultural ties between Africa and the Middle East.
