The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Group has expanded its brand into India with a five star hotel in Bangalore, the country's third most populous city. A bustling centre for hi-tech industries, Bangalore is known as the Silicon Valley of India.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, has 277 rooms, seven food and beverage outlets, a spa, and other hotel facilities.
Taking design inspiration from the Taj Mahol and the India's Mughal era, the hotel has 1,280 pieces of contemporary art – the world's largest art collection within a hotel.
“We are redefining the international standard for luxury hospitality in India with a truly unique property in Bangalore,” says Herve Humler, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
“The hotel will bring our Ritz-Carlton service philosophy to life in this magical country and blend it with traditional Indian hospitality to create memorable experiences for our guests,” says Herve Humler, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
