A 2 day Celebration will be held in Oaktown in early May on 66th Avenue, across from the Black Hole, a.k.a. the Oakland Coliseum .
The Raider Nation is planning an overnight Celebration on 1 and 2 May 2015. Activities will include video shoots for music videos, and live musical performances.
The purpose of the celebration is to influence and support 'all the the powers-that-be in finalizing a new stadium deal for the Raiders in Oakland and, ultimately, in Making Oakland Better".
The celebration will coincide with the final day of the 2015 draft.
Activities on Friday will begin at 3 pm. There will be live entertainment, video shoots, and a family potluck of food and drinks. Fans are encouraged to bring an ice chest full of drinks, tailgate chairs, and a side dish or some kind of meat.
Marshmallows, graham crackers, Hershey bars, and long sticks are highly encouraged for the all night bon fire.
Fans will eat breakfast on Saturday morning at 9.30 am. At 10.30, a contingent of fans will caravan to Oakland Raiders headquarters at 1220 Harbor Bay Parkway, Alameda, California, where a video shoot and Family Pizza Party will begin at 11 am.
More footage will be shot for 2 new songs by Jack Del Rio and Forever Oakland. Fans are encouraged to donate funds to help cover the cost of the pizza and to bring ice chests with water and soft drinks for the kiddies as well as cakes, candies, cupcakes, and other kinds of sweets.
Alcohol will NOT be allowed.
Tables, napkins, cups, paper plates, and garbage bags will b e provided. Fans are requested bring their own chairs and help pick up any garbage and keep things clean.
Following the conclusion of the event at Raiders headquarters, fans will caravan around the Town, filming at different iconic Oakland locations to provide more footage for the music videos.
Supporters and volunteers are encouraged to join the caravan, and they are encouraged to bring banners and signs..
