In response to strong demand, Qatar Airways will double the number round trip flights on its Doha - Denpasar route from one to 2 flights per day on 16 July 2015.

Denpasar is the capital of Bali, one of the world's most popular leisure travel destinations.

Bali has a rollicking tourism trade, with new hotels and resorts opening practically every day.

With a population of just 4.23 million people in a country of roughly 250 million people, Bali - just one of 6,000 inhabited islands in the 17,500-island Indonesian archipelago - accounts for fully ONE-HALF of the country's hotel rooms!

There must be a reason why so many people from around the world go there - and keep going back!

Qatar Airways will boost the number of flights on its Doha - Jakarta route to 3 daily round trips on 5 July 2015.

The capital and largest city of Indonesia, Jakarta is a sprawling city, which serves as the Indonesia's economic, political, and cultural hub.

Expats refer to Jakarta as the Big Durian, a tropical fruit that smells bad but actually tastes quite good - once you actually taste it.

Not sure what to make of that. They call New York the Big Apple; Bangkok, the Big Mango. I'll leave it to you make up your own mind!

“We remain committed to growing the Indonesian market and are delighted to announce the increase in flight frequencies to both Jakarta and Denpasar," says Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker.

"With our enhanced flight schedules, superior in-flight product, and the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, we continue to offer our passengers an exceptional 5 star service throughout their entire travel experience.”

Established 18 years ago, Qatar Airways is one of the world's fastest growing airlines. The airline currently flies to 146 key business and leisure travel destinations in Africa, the Americas, Asia, the Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.
