As the official hotel of the 2015 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel plays host to all 28 of the qualifying national teams. A special menu and a rooms package is targeted at rugby fans!
One week before the the 2015 Rugby Seven kicks off, all 28 qualilfying rugby teams will check into the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel on Canton Road in Kowloon's Tsim Sha Tsui district.
The 2015 Hong Kong Sevens will be held at the Hong Kong Stadium in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island from 27 to 29 March 2015. The teams will arrive in Hong Kong on 23 March 2015.
“Every year, we would receive a lot of rugby fans, not only from the city but also from Australia, UK, and USA," says James Ong, the Area General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels, Hong Kong.
"It is a weekend they anticipate and ensure their diaries are cleared so they are in Hong Kong to attend and support this annual event. They are very excited that they could stay at the same hotel with the players!”
As the official hotel of the 2015 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel will offer a set menu and a rooms package targeted at sports fans.
3 Course Set Menu
The hotel's Lobby Lounge will serve a 3 course set menu throughout March. It has been designed to meet the needs of rugby players, with high protein meats and fruit and vegetables rich in fibres, magnesiaum, and vitamins.
- Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast;
- Grilled sirloin steak with vegetables and roast potato;
- Banana chocolate Tiramisu with Kahlua infusion.
Special Rooms Package
The hotel is also offering a Rugby Sevens special rooms package throughout March.
Guests staying at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel during this period are entitled to a complimentary limited dinner menu for 2 during their stay. Reservations must be made on line 7 days in advance of their arrival.

The hotel is located on Canton Road within a massive shopping complex of more than 400 stores. It is within walking distance of the Star Ferry, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Nathan Road, the Tsim Sha Tsui annd Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR stations.
The hotel is a short taxi ride from Hong Hum Station, Kowloon Station, Mongkok, and other points on the Kowloon Peninsula.
