41th Annual Hong Kong Rugby Sevens to Attract 120,000 Fans

Tens of thousands of rugby players and fans descend on Hong Kong for the 41th annual Hong Kong Sevens, which will be held on 8 to 10 April 2016. It is one of Southeast Asia's most important sporting events of the year.

The Hong Kong Sevens is one of the most important sporting events of the year in Hong Kong. It will be held this year from 8 to 10 April at the Hong Kong Stadium on Hong Kong Island.

There will be 70 matches with almost 40 hours of play, which will be divided into 15 minute segments.

The Hong Kong Sevens attracts some of the world's top rugby players as well as tens of thousands of rugby fans from all over the world.

Rugby Week

Many players and fans will arrive early to take part in a series of events that take place in the week leading up to the main event.

Activities will include beach parties at Repulse Bay, a rugbyfest in Kowloon, a football tens at the Hong Kong Football Club, an international youth sevens, and a women's sevens.

Restaurants and bars in Lan Kwai Fong, SoHo, Wanchai, and Tsim Sha Tsui will be packed with rugby players and fans all week. Hotel rooms will be fully booked - so make sure to book your rooms now, if you haven't already done so.

The Hong Kong Sevens is organized by the Hong Kong Rugbt Football Union and sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways and HSBC.
