Instead of rushing to the airport in the morning and paying hefty parking fees, why not drive to a hotel near the airport the day before, spend the night, and leave your car in the hotel parking lot during your trip?
Parking at Los Angeles International Airport is expensive, and taxi rides to the airport are a bit pricey, as well.
And then there is that issue of having to leave home at an ungodly hour to catch an early morning flight!
With this is mind, Courtyard Los Angeles LAX/El Segundo is launching a Park Here, Fly There Package, which will not only save you money, it will de-stress the departure process.
The package allows travellers to drive to the hotel the day before their departure, spend the night at the hotel, catch a free shuttle directly to their gate after checking out of the hotel, and leave their car in the hotel parking lot for the duration of their trip at no charge.
The promotion will run through 31 March 2015.
Sounds like a great idea to me! I have, in fact, spent the night at an airport hotel a couple of times because I hate the stress of early morning departures.
What if I oversleep? What if I can't get a taxi? What if there is a traffic jam on the way to the airport?
About the Hotel
The hotel's 134 rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, spacious work stations, LCD televisions, mini refrigerators, pull-out sofa beds, and coffee makers.
The hotel has a bistro, a fitness centre, a heated swimming pool, a whirlpool, and 3 meeting rooms.
