Macau: Hotel Restaurant to Present Korean Buffet Food Promotion

A hotel restaurant in Macau invites a renowned Korean chef from a partner property in Seoul to head the kitchen during a 10 day Korean food promotion in September 2014.

Daniel Kyonghoon Chong, Chef de Partie at the Conrad Seoul in Seoul, Korea, will serve as Guest Chef during a special Korean food promotion at the Grand Orbit, the all-day international eatery at the Conrad Macao, Cotai Central, from 19 until 29 September 2014.

Chef Daniel will prepare a selection of authentic Korean soups, hot and cold dishes, and desserts. There will also be live cooking stations.

During the Korean food promotion, a wide selection of international and other Asian dishes will also be served at the buffet. Korean dishes will be served at lunch and dinner only.

Grand Orbit is one of 3 food and beverage outlets at the hotel. An all day dining venue, it serves food from around the world. Both buffet and a la carte dining options are offered. A dessert buffet features homemade cakes and a chocolate fountain.

The 40 storey hotel has 636 hotel rooms, a spa, and convention facilities. It adjoins a large shopping mall with hundreds of shops.

The hotel is located on the Cotai Strip across the street from the Venetian Macao. It is a 5 minute drive from Macau International Airport and a short drive from the Taipa Ferry Terminal. Hong Kong is a one hour’s jetfoil drive away.
