Hong Kong: Kowloon Restaurant to Serve Cantonese Cuisine with Canadian Characteristics

The Chinese restaurant at the Hotel Icon in Tsim Sha Tsui East serves 8 course Cantonese dinner prepared with fresh Canadian ingredients for 5 nights in late August 2014.

Think of it as Cantonese cuisine with Canadian characteristics.

Executive Chinese Chef Joseph Tse will serve an 8 course Cantonese dinner prepared with fresh Canadian ingredients from 26 to 30 August 2014 at Above and Beyond, the Chinese restaurant at the Hotel Icon in Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Featured dishes will include Wok-fried Atlantic Lobster with Yunnan Ham and Assorted Mushrooms, Pan-fried Black Cod Fillet with Sun-dried Tomatoes and Black Bean Sauce, Wok-fried Alberta Wagyu Rib Eye, and Double-boiled Partridge Soup with Ontario Ginseng.

On the night of 26 August, fine Canadian wines will be paired with the dishes served.

Above and Beyond is located on the 28th floor of the Hotel Icon, which is located in Tsim Sha Tsui East. It serves classic Cantonese cuisine. Featured dishes include steamed coral crab with glutinous rice and smoked bresse pigeon with oolong tea leaves.

The restaurant has a walk in wine cellar with a private tasting area.
