Air Seychelles will operate an Airbus A330-200 jetliner on the route. With a 2 class configuration, it will have 18 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 236 seats in Economy Class.

The journey between Paris and the Seychelles will take 12 hours and 30 minutes, including a 75 minute stop in Abu Dhabi. Passengers will deplane during the stopover and will have access to duty free shops and restaurants in the terminal.

Passengers will be allowed one stopover in Abu Dhabi, either coming or going.

“Our return to Paris marks another milestone in Air Seychelles’ journey of growing its international operations by flying to and from key markets,” says Manoj Papa, Air Seychelles’ Chief Executive Officer.

“France has deep cultural and historical ties with the Seychelles and these new flights will allow more travellers to visit our island nation both for business and for leisure. The response from stakeholders has been great. Travel agents, tour operators and business partners now have additional choice and accessibility options, which will help to further promote what the Seychelles has to offer.

Etihad Airways flies twice daily between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and the airline's hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The flights connect to the Seychelles and more than 50 other travel destinations across Africa, Asia, Australia, the Indian Subcontinent, and the Middle East.

“Our partner Air Seychelles’ return to Paris marks another milestone in its journey of growing its international operations by flying to and from more key destinations," says Kevin Knight, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer at the airline.

“France is also an important market for Etihad Airways, and providing more travel options between Paris and Abu Dhabi is central to our strategy of adding depth to our network.

Air Seychelles also flies non-stop to Hong Kong, Mauritius, and Johannesburg, South Africa. Other partner airlines include airberlin, Cathay Pacific Airways, and South African Airways.

The airline operates 200 domestic flights a week throughout the archipelago.
