Singapore: Hotel Near Changi Airport Gets Lion City's First Gold Sustainability Certification


A hotel at Changi Airport in Singapore is the first hotel in the Lion City to be awarded Gold Certification by EarthCheck, reflecting the hotel's commitment to Corporate Social Responsibly.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport has been awarded Gold Certification by EarthCheck in recognition of its commitment to sustainability practices.

The hotel underwent “a strict auditing process of reporting and verifying [its] environmental performance for five consecutive years”. It is one of the few organizations to have achieved Gold Certification within a 5 year time frame.

"To reduce the amount of Greenhouse Gas emissions and conserve natural resources, we have to play our part in addressing the challenges faced by the planet through our environmental initiatives,” says Bill Sheppard, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport..
