What I’m Listening To ...

As I milled through a crowd of students protesting in the streets of Hong Kong for universal suffrage, a few people started to sing - and within moments, everyone (but me) was singing along loudly and enthusiastically. I was later to learn that this song, 'Under a Vast Sky' - sung by the late Wong Ka-kui, a.k.a. Beyond - an icon of Canto-pop, has become the unofficial anthem of Hong Kong's student-led democracy movement. ENJOY!

During a recent trip to China, these amazing musicians from Paraguay were performing at the hotel I was staying at! I listened to them, I danced with them, and I even got to SING with them (em chines!). Introducing Andrea Marina singing 'Que Bello Cumbria Paraguay'. ENJOY!
