Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel will play host to 11 of the world's best chefs during the 18th annual Amazing World Gourmet Festival, which will run from 4 to 10 September 2017. Each chef will host two dinners at one of the hotel's food and beverage outlets.
From mouth-watering street food to fine-dining eateries, Bangkok, Thailand, is one of the world's greatest cities for eating out.
While the Big Mango, as it is affectionately known locally, awaits publication of its first Michelin Guide, the 18th annual Amazing World Gourmet Festival will be held at one of the city's finest hotels, the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
Eleven of the world's most celebrated chefs - from eight countries - will be invited to showcase their culinary skills during the festival.
Each one of the chefs will prepare two dinners, which will be served at one of the hotel's food and beverage outlets: Madison, Spice Market, Sintaro, and Biscotti.
Fringe events will be held in the Aqua Bar (pictured above), the hotel's ever popular lobby cocktail lounge. Examples include a late afternoon formal affair on 9 September, which will feature fashion and fine art.
Chef Bobby Chinn of Hanoi, Vietnam, will finish things off with a bang with a World Gourmet Brunch on 10 September.
Not only will Chef Bobby prepare a mouth-watering lunch. He will also perform with his band!

The following world-renowned chefs will be flying to Bangkok to cook for fastidious foodies during the World Gourmet Festival:
Caprice in Hong Kong (2 Michelin stars). Born in the Loire Valley in France, Chef Guillaume Galliot heads the kitchen of Caprice at the five-star hotel Four Seasons Hong Kong. He joined the eatery in April 2017
Restaurant Zeniya in Kanazawa, Japan (2 Michelin stars). Japanese Chef Shinichiro Takagi has dedicated his life to his family restaurant, Zeniya, growing it into an unforgettable dining experience with two Michelin stars.
Glass Hostaria in Rome, Italy (1 Michelin star). Hailing from Italy, Chef Cristina Bowerman is the talent behind the Romeo Chef and Baker projects, which range from pop-up restaurants to creative underground spaces.
L’AND Vineyards in Alentejo, Portugal (1 Michelin star). Part of a new wave of chefs leading the way in modern Portuguese gastronomy, Chef Miguel Laffan creates imaginative dishes at L’AND Vineyards in Alentejo, Portugal.
Ristorante Christian e Manuel in Vercelli, Italy (1 Michelin star). Born into a hotel-owning family in Piedmont, brothers Christian and Manuel Costardi were destined to be chefs. In 2009, they received a Michelin star for their eatery.
Corner House Singapore (1 Michelin star). Co-owner of the beautiful E J H Corner House in Singapore, Chef Jason Tan has garnered the accolade of a Michelin star and is ranked number 17 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Selfie Restaurant and Bar in Moscow, Russia (The World’s 50 Best Restaurants). Russian-born Anatoly Kazakov is currently at Selfie Restaurant in Moscow, where he shares kitchen duties with star chef Vladimir Mukhin.
Restaurant Orana in Adelaide, Australia (Australia's Top Restaurants). Born in Scotland, Jock Zonfrillo’s commercial success underscores his non-profit organization, which preserves and Australia’s indigenous food culture.
Restaurant Bobby Chinn in Hanoi, Vietnam. Kiwi-born Chef Bobby Chinn became a WWF Ambassador in 2012, promoting Sustainable Seafood Production and has been a Tourism Ambassador for Vietnam since July 2014.

About the Hotel
The Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in the Thai capital. Set amid landscaped gardens, the hotel features traditional Thai architecture.

The hotel is located in the heart of Central Bangkok. Erawan Shrine, Garsorn shopping mall, the Central World Shopping Mall are all within a two minutes' walk of the hotel.
