Sightseeing

Arlington, Texas, is home to AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys,  Globe Life Park, home of the Texas Rangers, two major amusement parks, and one of the world's busiest airports. Here's a quick guide to sightseeing, hotels, restaurants, and transport for visiting sports fans.

The Houston Texans  will take on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in game three of the 2017 NFL pre-season. While pre-season games don't count, there is something else at stake: pride. Without doubt, the Cowboys and the Texans are cross-state rivals.

Cowboys Stadium, as AT&T Stadium is also know, is one of the largest stadiums ever built. It is also the world's largest domed structure. The roof can be opened or closed in 12  minutes.

The stadium also has the world's largest scoreboard, which stretches from the 20 yard line to the 20 yard line. There are luxury boxes, food and beverage outlets - the list goes on.

There is so much to see, in fact, that guided tours of the stadium are offered for sports enthusiasts that can't take in a game there!

The Dallas Cowboys have won more post-season games and made it to more Super Bowls than any other NFL team. Super Bowl XLV between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers was also held at the stadium.
