dusitD2 Khao Yai is nestled in the foothills of Thailand’s scenic Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Located just a two hours' drive from Central Bangkok, the resort has comfortable accommodation, excellent food and beverage outlets, and a host of facilities and activities.

Because of  the eco-resort's proximity to Khao Yai National Park, the hotel is especially well suited to eco-tourists wanting to get in touch with nature.

Accommodation

The hotel has 79 rooms and suites. All units have deep soak bathtubs, private balconies, and complimentary high-speed Internet access. There are three types of accommodation.

Deluxe rooms measure 36 square metres. They have two twin beds or one king size bed.

Corner suites measure 72 Square metres. With sweeping views of the Khao Yai mountains, they have a bedroom and a separate living room with a sofa, coffee table, chair, work station, and walk-in closet.

Two-level duplex suites measure 69 square metres. They have a living room with a sofa, coffee table, chair, work station, and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs, they have a bedroom and a bathroom with a deep-soak bathtub.

Food + Beverage

The hotel has four food and beverage outlets and a takeaway. Many of the fruits, vegetables, and wines are sourced from nearby farms and vineyards.

  • Musi Grill – an all-day dining restaurant and grill serving buffet breakfasts and international a la carte dishes throughout the day. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • D’Bar – overlooking the swimming pool, D’Bar serves mixed cocktails and new and old world wines.
  • The Lounge – serves light dishes, an all-day a la carte menu, and cigars. The perfect spot to watch the sun set over the mountains.
  • Cocoon – a tree-top dining pod for couples or small groups of up to six people serving international dishes. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Gourmet de Khao Yai – offers grab-and-go teas, coffees, pastries, and sandwichesl.

Facilities + Activities

Facilities an outdoor infinity swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, a climbing wall, and a small onsite petting zoo housing alpacas and rabbits.

Cooking classes featuring three dishes followed by dinner are offered.  Biking, canoeing, hiking, trekking, farm visits, and rock climbing can also be arranged.

Two meetings rooms are also available.

Location, Location, Location

The hotel is roughly two hours from Central Bangkok. It is 30 minutes from both the Pak Chong Railway Station and the Pak Chong Bus Station

The hotel is 2 hours and 30 minutes from Don Mueang International Airport, which is used mostly by domestic and budget airlines.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport, which is used mostly by international airlines, is 2 hours and 38 minutes away.

Khao Yai National Park

Khao Yai National Park is  a lush wilderness teeming with wildlife. It is located a short drive from the hotel and offers some excellent hiking trails.

Situated from 400 to 1,000 metres above sea level, the park has grasslands and tropical rain forests.

There are more than 3,000 species and plants, 66 species of mammals, and 320 species of birds.

Established in 1962 as Thailand's first national park, Khao Yai National Park is the third largest national park in Thailand.

With an area of 2,168 square kilometres, the park extends across four provinces: Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, Saraburi, and Nakhon Nayok.
