DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island has opened in Fiji. It is the island nation's newest resort.
The resort hotel has 120 guest rooms and bures, or traditional Fijian villas, which have been renovated and refurbished.
All units have balconies with views of the ocean and Mamanuca Islands. Villas have vaulted ceilings.
There are three food and beverage outlets. Many of the dishes are prepared using native ingredients grown in the island's rich volcanic soil.
An onsite vegetable farm, herb gardens, tropical orchards, and a hydroponic farm provide the hotel’s kitchens with an abundant selection of fresh produce daily.
