Sagano, the Japanese restaurant at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel in Kowloon, will a Cold Noodle Set Lunch in July and August, with three kinds of noodles.
According to Masahiko Noka, Japanese Chef at the popular eater, much fulfill three criteria: they must be chilly, chewy, and fragrant.
The Cold Noodle Set Lunch features classic egg noodles, noodles infused with Japanese green tea (matcha), and noodles infused with plum.
The noodles will be served on ice with a dipping sauce, wasabi, spring onions, and sesame seeds on the side.
Sagano is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong, where Japanese food is exceptionally popular.
Diners can choose a hot dish and a choice of sushi to accompany their noodles.
For their hot dish, they can opt for Assorted Tempura, Grilled Silver Cod with Miso Paste, or Sautéed Sliced Black Pork with Ginger Sauce.
For their sushi, options will include Assorted Sushi (Sea Bream, Tuna, Yellowtail and Sweet Shrimp); Minced Fatty Tuna Roll with Spring Onion, Sea Bream and Tuna Sushi; Salmon, Zuwai Crabmeat and Salmon Roe Sushi Rice.
The set also comes with Seasonal Appetiser, Steamed Egg Custard, and refreshing Mango Pudding, and Ice Cream for dessert.
